As many of you already know, I am Taylor's aunt, Jamie. I'm reaching out today on behalf of my nephew.
On March 25th, Taylor (19) was involved in a devastating accident that resulted in the traumatic loss of his right arm. Seeing someone so young and so full of life face such a massive hurdle is heartbreaking, but his resilience is already starting to shine through. He is currently receiving medical care, and we are incredibly grateful that he is still with us.
Taylor is everything you hope a young man will be- hardworking, kind, and naturally funny. He's the person who shows up without being asked, who makes people laugh when they need it most, and who genuinely cares about the people around him. He is a beloved son, nephew, grandson, brother, uncle, and friend, and means so much to so many.
Right now, Taylor is facing a long difficult road ahead. There will be multiple medical procedures, ongoing care, and extensive rehabilitation. In time, he will also need a prosthetic limb and the support and training that comes with learning how to use it. The physical, emotional, and financial challenges ahead are significant.
As he focuses on healing and adjusting to this life-changing injury, we want to ease as much of the burden as possible. Donations will help cover medical expenses, rehabilitation, prosthetic costs, lost income during recovery, and day to day needs during his recovery.
If you are able to give, share this page, or keep Taylor in your thoughts and prayer, we are deeply grateful. Every act of support -big or small- will be able to help him move forward. We are taking things one day at a time and focusing on Taylor's recovery. We truly appreciate your kindness and respect for his privacy during this time.
Thank you all again for your texts, calls, and prayers - they mean more than you'll ever know. With your continued support, love, and prayers, we know he will find the strength to keep moving forward.
