Help Support Stephanie Eaton’s Battle Against Cancer

Dear friends and family,

I am reaching out to share the story of an incredible woman, Stephanie Eaton, who is currently facing the toughest battle of her life—fighting cancer.

Stephanie is a loving mother, grandmother, and devoted friend. Her kindness and strength have touched the lives of so many. She has been a part of Fountain Hills for almost 20 years, and many of you know her from Doggy Style Pet Grooming or from Phil’s Filling Station. In all of the years I have had the pleasure to know and call her my friend, she is not one to sit still! Stephanie has worked 7 days a week to help provide for her family. After raising her 3 children, she took on the responsibility of raising her 2 young grandchildren. She is always willing to give a hand or offer help, even to strangers. Recently, she was diagnosed with stage 1 cancer, and her journey has been filled with challenges that no one should have to face alone.

The Journey

After not feeling well and experiencing worsening pain, Stephanie went to the hospital in March. They found a large tumor in her abdomen and scheduled her for surgery the next day. She required 2 blood transfusions prior to surgery. During surgery, they removed the 24-inch tumor and did a complete hysterectomy. When she woke up, she was told she has stage 1C ovarian cancer.

Stephanie has not been able to work since her surgery in March, and she is still unsure when she will be able to go back. After almost 3 months, she was finally approved for state insurance and able to start making appointments to begin chemotherapy.

While she remains hopeful, the financial burden of medical bills and daily living expenses is starting to catch up. We want to ensure that Stephanie can focus on her recovery without the stress of financial strain.
