Rally around Rachel

Rachel, our beloved Pastor and friend, was diagnosed with sarcoma cancer just before the beginning of the New Year.  She is currently receiving chemotherapy, and has a long path ahead.   The treatments do take a toll on her as you might expect. The fatigue, exhaustion and constant nausea make it difficult for her to function, but she selflessly continues her work of visiting the sick and the elderly, and ministering to her congregation.

Rachel is not from our area, and is single with no family close by.  About eight years ago our church was in need of a new pastor. We are blessed that she chose to lead us.  She is especially active with the children and youth groups. She is always there to help our congregation and our community.

We would like to raise money to help Rachel offset the out of pocket expenses that insurance  will not cover.  We are a small church, and as you might guess, the pay is not great. She is a very frugal person and her small savings is dwindling rapidly.  Please join us in helping to relieve some of the financial burden.  She has done so much for the community, it is now time for us to "Rally Around Rachel"and support her through this difficult struggle.
