Tragic Hit-and-Run Leaves Two Teenage Brothers Fighting for Their Lives
On Tuesday, May 27th, our family was forever changed. Our beloved cousins, Minic (17) and Prise (16), were victims of a horrific hit-and-run accident in Los Angeles. Both were rushed to the hospital in critical condition, and the road ahead will be long and uncertain.
Minic, just weeks away from graduating high school, suffered a traumatic brain injury that required emergency surgery to alleviate a brain bleed. He remains intubated and on life support, with his neurological function showing alarming signs of decline. Doctors have shared that the full extent of his injuries and his prognosis may not be known for another six months.
Prise sustained multiple severe fractures to his legs — a femoral fracture and fractures to both his fibula and tibia — requiring multiple surgeries. While he is expected to recover fully, his journey will involve months of grueling rehabilitation.
Their mother has not left their side, balancing the impossible task of caring for her sons in the hospital while their older sister tends to their 4-year-old sister with special needs at home.
We are asking for your prayers, your support, and if you’re able, your financial assistance during this incredibly difficult time. Funds raised will help cover critical medical care, rehabilitation, adaptive equipment, counseling, and educational support to ensure Minic and Prise can rebuild their lives and pursue the futures they were so close to stepping into.
No contribution is too small. Every donation, prayer, and share of this campaign brings hope and light to their path to healing.
From the bottom of our hearts, thank you for standing with our family.
