Our friend Mike’s world turned upside down recently when a broken femur led doctors to discover a tumor at the site of the break. After further testing, he was diagnosed with osteosarcoma, a rare form of bone cancer.

While the diagnosis was unexpected, Mike is facing it head-on — with the same strength, humor, and positive spirit we all know and love him for. His journey will include surgery and treatments over the next several months, and he’ll be in and out of the hospital while focusing on recovery.
