A New Chapter Begins Without Matthew

On June 30th, our beloved Matthew went home to be with the Lord. He was a loving fiancée, devoted father, son, brother, and friend. His passing has left a space that can never be filled—but his love and legacy live on through Alexandria and their four beautiful children.

This GoFundMe, originally created to support their journey during his critical illness, is now being used to help Alexandria rebuild her life and create stability for her children in the face of unimaginable loss.

Alexandria is preparing to relocate from Savannah to Columbus, GA to be closer to family support as she navigates this next chapter as a newly widowed mother. She is now solely responsible for caring for their children emotionally, financially, and physically.

Here’s how your support will help:
• Securing safe housing for Alexandria and the children as they relocate
• Covering basic living expenses while she gets back on her feet
• Providing for the children’s needs as they adjust to life without their father
• Helping Alexandria begin again, one step at a time

We know Matthew would want his family to be surrounded by love and provision. If you are able, please consider donating—or sharing this campaign to extend its reach. Every gift, every prayer, and every share helps lighten the burden.

From the depths of our hearts—thank you for standing with Alexandria and the children in this season of rebuilding. We are trusting God to supply all her needs and carry her through this new beginning.

“The Lord is close to the brokenhearted and saves those who are crushed in spirit.” — Psalm 34:18

————————————————————
On June 17, 2025, our family was shaken when Matthew, a loving family man and father of four, suffered a devastating stroke, followed by a brain aneurysm—and then, another stroke.

He is currently intubated, with a tube in his head to drain the blood from his brain. While the medical team has given us a difficult prognosis, we are not accepting that report. We are standing firm in our faith, believing in the power of prayer, and trusting that God will fully restore Matthew—healed, whole, and walking out of that hospital in victory.

Matthew and Alexandria are devoted parents, incredibly hard-working, and always there for those they love. They pour so much love into their family and community—and now they need us to rally around them.

During this critical time, Alexandria is by Matthew’s side and caring for their four children, all while facing the emotional and financial burden this crisis brings. The funds raised will go directly to support:

• Temporary loss of income
• Housing and utility bills
• Everyday household needs for Alexandria and their children

We know times are hard for many, but even the smallest gift can help lighten the load and remind them they are not alone. If you can’t give, please share this campaign and keep Matthew and Alexandria in your prayers.

We are believing for a miracle. Thank you for your love, support, and faith.

I am Cheryl, Alexandria’s sister and I have set her as a beneficiary on this GoFundMe so all funds will go directly to her. We appreciate you all. Thank you.
