On behalf of the Best-Gittens family, we are setting up this GoFundMe for medical treatment.

Leary Gittens was involved in a vehicular accident on January 27, 2026. Unfortunately, he does not have any medical insurance and needs to seek medical care in Panama at Hospiten Paitilla for their quality treatment and pricing.

He has many facial fractures, and he needs surgery.

His facial fractures are as follows:

Frontal sinus fractures – anterior and posterior table, minimally displaced, no CSF leak.

Cribriform plate fracture – undisplaced, no CSF leak.

Nasal bone fracture – minimally displaced.

Left zygoma fracture – displaced laterally.

Bilateral Le Fort I fractures – displaced.

Left mandible body fracture – displaced.

He had surgery, but some fractures could not be stabilized as the fixation plates for the upper face were not available. Without surgery, Leary's quality of life will change completely, as it also has affected his vision, and he will become disabled. We are kindly asking for help that will go directly toward Leary's surgery, medical care, and recovery needs.
