Rally around Hattie's
Donation protected
Last night, a powerful storm swept through our area and knocked out power for hours. One of the businesses hit hardest was Hattie's Coffee House, our beloved local coffee shop nestled in a beautifully restored farmhouse. As many of you know, this cozy spot has quickly become more than just a place to grab your morning coffee - it's a gathering place, a quiet refuge, and a true heart of our community.
Unfortunately, the extended power outage caused all of their refrigerated food and milk to spoil - including prepared foods and the essential items they rely on daily to make coffee. As a result, they've been forced to close temporarily, and the financial loss is significant for a small, independently-owned shop that's only been open for a year.
Many of you have asked how to help. After speaking with Kirra, we've set up this GoFundMe to help the shop recover from the unexpected loss and get back on their feet as quickly as possible.
Your donations will go directly toward:
- Replacing spoiled food and coffee ingredients
- Covering lost revenue from forced closure
- Helping restock supplies so they can reopen and serve the community
Even a small contribution can make a big difference. And if you can't donate, sharing this page and showing your support is just as appreciated.
