My name is Kayla Premack, and I am reaching out to ask for your support in raising funds for our dear friend, German Duarte.

German's Medical Emergency

Recently, German experienced an unexpected medical emergency. Anyone who knows German can attest to the fact that he is an extraordinary person—truly magical in the way he touches the lives of those around him.

Health Challenges

Over the past few weeks, German has been struggling with a sickness. Although the initial illness has subsided, new and concerning symptoms have developed. This morning, German woke up with shortness of breath, severe swelling in his legs (edema), and chest pains. We acted quickly and took him to the emergency room.

Hospitalization and Medical Tests

At the hospital, German underwent a series of diagnostic tests, including blood tests, an EKG, an X-ray, and a urine sample. His blood pressure was found to be very high, and the ER doctor made the decision to admit him to the ICU for further monitoring and treatment.

Financial Need

As a result of these health challenges, German has had to take time off work. He is now facing mounting medical bills and does not have insurance coverage. We are asking our community to rally around German during this difficult time, as he focuses on healing and overcoming this traumatic experience. Any contribution, no matter the amount, will make a difference.
