Hey Everyone,

This is Jourdan, Tom, and Connor—Courtney's three kids, who she loved more than anything in the world.

Right now, she’s facing the fight of her life. She’s been in the ICU for the past six days, and while the doctors don’t have a definitive answer yet, she’s been presumptively diagnosed with Primary Central Nervous System Vasculitis—a condition so rare it affects about 1 in a million people.

This disease has caused multiple strokes, swelling in her brain, and damage to her frontal lobe and other areas. At this time, she is unresponsive. If and when she wakes up, she will face a long, difficult road to recovery.

Our mom and her husband, Paul, are going to need help in the weeks and months ahead. We, as her kids, are doing everything we can to support her, but the medical bills and ongoing costs will be overwhelming.

We don’t know what the future holds, and there are no guarantees. What we do know is that she has always been the strongest, most selfless person—and she would be so grateful for the love, prayers, and support so many of you have already shown.
