Hi, my name is Jessica, and I’m fundraising for my best friend, Allison.

Allison and I have been friends for over 13 years. We first met in Georgia when we worked together, and from the very beginning, she became like family to me. I was there when her daughter Kailyn was just a baby, and I’ve watched her grow their family with the births of Jack and Colin. Even after Allison moved to Maryland, our friendship never wavered—we’ve always been there for each other.

Now, Allison needs our support. She has been diagnosed with stage 2 ductal carcinoma breast cancer. If you know Allison, you know she is one of the strongest, most resilient people you will ever meet. She’s a dedicated pre-K teacher, a proud member of her local Burn Boot Camp community, and above all, a devoted mom and wife. She pours her heart into everything she does, and she inspires me daily—I often joke that I want to be like her when I grow up.

Why We Need Your Help

 As Allison begins her treatment journey—which includes 20 weeks of chemotherapy, followed by surgery, and finally anti-estrogen therapy—the financial burden is growing quickly. Despite insurance, the out-of-pocket costs for medical care, travel to specialists, time away from work, and supportive therapies are overwhelming.
