Throughout its long tenure, the school has proudly operated without fundraising events, relying primarily on tuition as a primary source of funding. However, as child care operational costs rise nationally, Raleigh Nursery School has maintained its tuition at affordable rates for parents and caregivers. Initiating fundraising efforts are now essential. This shift reflects a proactive approach to sustaining and expanding the school's mission while keeping costs below the national average - ensuring that affordable and quality child care is accessible to all.
Yearly childcare fundraising plays a crucial role in supporting the quality and accessibility of early education. These efforts help ensure long-term financial stability and provide essential resources such as educational materials, facility improvements, and staff training that directly benefit the children’s learning environment. Fundraising will also enable Raleigh Nursery School to offer more scholarships to families in need - something very important to the initial founders of the school - ensuring that every child has the opportunity to thrive.
