Help Maddison Represent Australia in Germany – Rale Rasic Joeys Mini World Cup 2026

Hi everyone,

My name is Maddison Flanagan, I’m 17 years old, and I’ve been playing soccer since I was 6 with the dream of one day playing professionally. Football has shaped my life, it’s my passion, my purpose, and the path I’m determined to follow.

I’ve been incredibly fortunate to represent Australia twice in the Rale Rasic Joeys Mini World Cup, an international youth tournament held in Germany that brings together talented players from around the world. It’s named after Rale Rasic, the legendary coach who led Australia to its first FIFA World Cup in 1974. Being selected to play in this tournament is a huge honour, it’s competitive, prestigious, and offers young athletes like me a rare chance to experience professional football on a global stage.

Earlier this year, I competed in the Rale Rasic trials alongside many talented teammates and was thrilled to be selected once again to represent Australia in 2026. I currently play for Across the Waves Football Club in Bundaberg, and each trip has helped me grow as a player and as a person, building my skills, confidence, and understanding of the game.

To help fund this opportunity, I work part-time while completing my schooling, saving every bit I can. I’m hoping to travel again next year, but due to personal circumstances, affording the full cost of the trip is more difficult this time around.

That’s why I’m reaching out for support. The funds raised will go directly toward the travel package, which includes airfares, accommodation, and meals while I’m in Germany. Every donation, big or small, helps me take one step closer to this incredible opportunity.
