Help build a Mental Health Hospital in Somalia

Please help us in the completion of building a desperately needed Mental Health Hospital in Galdogob, Somalia.

According to the World Health Organization, Somalia is dealing with a Mental Health Crisis. The prevalence of Mental Illness in Somalia is the highest in the world and access to mental health care and treatment is extremely poor.

Rajo Mental Health is a grass roots charity led by Dr. Abdirashid Takar (UK registered doctor & mental health expert). It is trying to build a hospital in Galdogob that will provide much-needed shelter, medication, equipment, and most importantly care from local qualified mental healthcare professionals for the most vulnerable people in this community and the region.

By supporting Rajo Mental Health & Galdogob Mental Health Hospital you will also help to raise awareness and reduce the stigma associated with mental illness in this region and across Somalia, setting an example which can ultimately help lead to improved mental health outcomes in the country.
