Help Raja Dirani in fighting his battle with cancer.

Hi my name is Suzanne, I am the niece of Raja Dirani.

My uncle Raja is the most selfless human you’d meet. The most caring and lovable person. But this life has been unfair to him.

All he has ever wanted was to live a happy life. Although life had other plans for him, he lost his father and daughter at a very young age.

No matter the grief and tragedies he faced he still continued to stay strong for his 3 sons.

In 2013 he discovered he needed surgery for his heart. Which he underwent the operation which was called David’s procedure.

Just this year doctors informed him he needed another open heart surgery to replace a leaking valve.

He decided to make the decision to have the surgery. On the 26TH of June 2024 he had an aortic valve replacement.

This step was to give him hope in living a fuller life as he can no longer have anymore heart surgery’s as it’s too risky.

But then a week following the surgery he got awful news, that as the surgeon was performing the surgery he found a nodule in his chest cavity and it tested positive for Hodgkinsons Lymphoma.

The haematologist informed us that the cancer is curable although the chemotherapy can attack his heart and lungs.

During his chemotherapy they have offered us a medication that will hopefully stop the chemo from attacking his vital organs.

This medication is called Brentuximab Vedotin and it costs $50,000.

The doctors informed him that he can no longer work for a minimum of 6 months. Once the goal is achieved, any further donations will go towards his living expenses during his treatment.

So please help us in raising the funds for my precious uncle so he has a chance to fight this horrible disease and keep his heart strong so he can live a full life he so deserves.
