Ever since he was 5, Raj’s dream was to go to Duke. At some point, he covered his room with Duke stickers and Harry Potter posters—someone once commented that he could only go to Duke or Hogwarts. When I got into Duke, he was so excited, saying “Didi, I’m next.” And when he got into Duke, he called me, over the moon because his dream was coming true.

There are some brilliant kids out there who get into Duke, but can’t afford to go. In Raj’s memory, we are setting up a scholarship fund to help them achieve their dreams, the way Raj was able to. For my birthday, I am seeking donations for this scholarship fund—every bit raised will mean a bigger scholarship we can provide to students in need.
