I am Celina Monique, the CEO and Founder of R.O.Q. (Raising Our Queens, Inc.). Raising Our Queens is a non-profit organization for female adolescents and young women, ages nine through their mid-twenties. However, we work with women and men raising young women of all ages. Remember no donation is too large or too small.
At the conclusion of this campaign, we will award two female high school seniors. The schools eligible for the scholarship are Butler High School (in Augusta, GA) and all Clayton County High Schools. The scholarship winners will be determined after the review of all submitted packets.
Due to all of the love and support, R.O.Q. has not only reached, but exceeded our goal (including the fees that GoFundMe takes)! Thank you, thank you, thank you! Any funds donated from this point on will go towards other initiatives for the non-profit. One of the initiatives the extra funds will benefit is assisting with the cost of obtaining 501 (c) 3 tax exemption status ($850).
