Raising4Reuben Walk

Hi everyone my names Laura (Reubens Mum) We will be doing a sponsored walk for Reuben to help raise funds for Reubens new wheelchair, as most of you know Reuben had double hip reconstruction in October 23. Since Reubens surgery i have been begging our local wheelchair services for a better, more supportive wheelchair and have been failed over and over again. I just couldn't leave my son in this position any longer so we had a couple of private wheelchair assessments and have found the perfect wheelchair for Reuben but at a cost of £4500. The new chair will come with a contour cushion and moulded backrest to help keep Reuben and his hips in the correct position, also the chair we have chosen comes with a mud cruiser wheel so that we are able to go offroad. Reuben loves being out going on walks and walks through the woods but this has been very limited as we don't have the correct seating for him. So im hoping with everyone's help we can help raise some funds towards this amazing chair and give Reuben some freedom back after such a big and challenging surgery.

Reubens is a 10yr old boy with quadriplegic cerebral palsy and a fulltime wheelchair user, he's undergone many of surgeries and always has the biggest smile on his face and just gets on with it, he deserves the absolute world
