Raising tuition for the Floret Flower Workshop

As some of you may know, I am starting a cut flower business this spring. It will start off small, just a simple flower CSA and the possibility of flowers for small events. We have the garden and I am enthusiastically adding flowers all of the time! I have an abundance of books on starting a cut flower business, how to arrange flowers and how to grow them. What I lack is the hands on knowledge of how to actually arrange and care for the blooms after they have been harvested.

Enter the Floret Workshop! Erin at Floret Farms offers an online workshop every January for 6 weeks. During this workshop you learn all the ins and outs of flower farming, care, arranging and selling. Unfortunately this isn't cheap..

I applied for the scholarship and found out this morning that I did not receive it.

Registration for the workshop opens on October 18th and ends on the 22nd, so just a few short days to apply.
