Raising the roof for Dalal

Hello everyone
One of my good friends is fighting for her life right now with advanced stage three adenocarcinoma lung cancer, if there is anything you would like to do to help please message me privately and I can let you know how you can help this lady through her battle.
Please find below her story:
Dalal has been a proud resident of this city and Beaverlodge for 16 years. She was raised in the beautiful northern Alberta town of High Level and moved out here as a young woman to settle down and start a family of her own. She has two amazing children - Kale and Savannah whom she now proudly raises on her own. Some of you may know her because she’s coached your kids’ sports teams, volunteered in several community events - walks for MS, runs for breast cancer, fundraisers for your loved ones, daycare and school lotteries even the Alberta summer games! Dalal has a passion for baking and cooking. She’s catered and baked extravagant cakes for residents over the last few years as well.
Dalal built a career in the energy sector for the last 13 years. She started out as reception after attending our local GPRC as a single mom trying to figure life out. After years of hard work and dedication she worked her way up into the role of an assistant GM of an amazing rentals company and then division. Unfortunately, she was laid off in December of 2019 which was both a curse and a blessing. At the time it was appropriate because her mother required end of life care. Her mother’s immediate care quickly fell onto the shoulders of Dalal and her brother. It was a task they gladly took on both physically, emotionally as well as financially. Sadly, she lost her brave two- and half-year battle in January of 2019. With all of this they were also given the responsibility of caring for two younger siblings.
Dalal is the type of woman who will take life by the horns and crush any challenge thrown her way! She had a new vision for a career change and life goal. Dalal began her studies in holistic healing, with the end goal of opening a clinic of her own.
Unfortunately. As quickly as this dream began, she slammed into another road block. Dalal had a nagging feeling, she could not shake. She asked her doctor to test her for the same lung cancer which took her mother’s life, as a precaution. February 20th 2019, exactly one month after the loss of her mom, she went for a scan. Within hours her phone was ringing off the hook with medical offices and appointment line ups. Since February 20th she’s had dozens of doctor appointments, several scans, a general surgery biopsy and
then some very devastating news. On April 10th all the final pathology was in and she had a formal diagnosis. Dalal has advanced stage three poorly differentiated adenocarcinoma. The same dreaded potential family curse.
Dalal has had no time to work and recoup to get her life back on track. All treatment is covered under Alberta health care but absolutely nothing else is. The support medications - vitamin shots, anti-nausea meds, immune support, travel for treatment, accommodation etc. The list is very long...on top of a normal everyday life of supporting two young children. This treatment will consist of aggressive radiation, chemo therapy and immunotherapy. There is a 30% survival rate that this comes with. We pray this is her nine lives all in one. There is also a 60% chance of recurrence. It will be a very long ugly year ahead. It is her hope to leave to the Sanoviv clinic in Mexico after her western medicine treatment is completed. There are local individuals who have left as terminal patients and returned cancer free. Dalal deserves the chance to do everything in this worlds power to kick this cancers ass. She has dreams of walking her children down the aisle, holding her grandbabies, being a holistic healer and so much more.
This incredible woman needs us. We are asking you to come join the battle. Her fight, is OUR fight!
