Raising money to thank Break for looking after Giac!

Our gorgeous Giac is nearing his 18th birthday and there will be lots of changes. One of those is that he will no longer be attending his respite home, Nelson Lodge, which is run by the Norfolk charity Break. The place has been an absolute lifeline for our family for 12 years, providing us with a break from full time caring when not at our other jobs and Giac with a break from the home. It has allowed us to do things that Giac would struggle with and for us to maintain relationships and spend time with family and friends who are so important to us. The Break staff are amazing and have cared for Giac and been advocates for him and for us. They have all also provided our girls with young carers breaks and groups. Break means a lot to us and it would mean the world for us to be able to give them a collection of money and for them to decide what they want to do with it; staff treats, equipment, whatever. We haven’t got the time with Giac’s transition to do something to fundraise but we’d be so grateful if people could spare a pound or two. Thanks for reading this if you got this far!
