Fundraiser for the Rhabdomyolysis Foundation-In honour of Zane Stock.

As you may know, Zane was suddenly taken from us at the age of 24, one year ago due to a condition called Rhabdomyolysis. He was competing in the Chicago Half Marathon when he collapsed meters from the end. Given that we had never heard of this disease, and Zane had no symptoms, it was a shock to all Zane’s family and friends. The Rhabdomyolysis foundation is a not-for-profit organisation which was founded in 2022. The condition is quite rare and there is not much known about its causes. Sadly, the numbers are starting to rise, and the foundation aims to raise awareness, provide support to survivors, and ultimately contribute to finding a cure for this deadly disease. The Workforce.com team are holding a fundraiser in Chicago the weekend before the Chicago half marathon this year and then ultimately some family and friends are running/walking in the Chicago event in Zane’s honour. The GoFundMe page is being set up to help provide the reach to friends and family who may want to support the foundation but can’t make the fundraiser on May 11th in Chicago. All money raised on this page will be donated directly to the Rhabdo Foundation. We all look forward to catching up with our friends and family in Chicago.
