My name is Katelyn, and I am writing to support my 27-year-old husband, JC, as he begins an aggressive battle with stage 3 cancer. In March 2022, we were heartbroken to learn that after having a testicle removed in July 2021 due to an infection, it was missed by the healthcare professionals that it was testicular cancer. In the meantime, it metastasized to his lungs and kidneys. He is embarking on the fight of his life, with daily chemotherapy beginning immediately and a very long journey ahead of him. All of this just seven short months into our married life together. Anyone who knows JC can speak to his kind heart, strong faith and dedication to his church and community, love for kids, and his dogs, Poco and Baxter. JC is such a caring, positive person, has two jobs, and rarely thinks about himself. He would never choose to ask for financial support. The expenses for his treatment are extreme, and a donation of any size will help ease his worries about supporting us financially and allow him to focus all of his energy into healing and beating cancer.
