Raising Money In Memory of Paul Farrell
As some of you may know my uncle Paul lost his battle with Cancer late last year.
Before and after being diagnosed Paul always raised money for cancer charities, he ran a total of 10 marathons and done many other charity events.
Paul's son George, Good friend Billy Brewer and myself are going to be taking part in this year's Tough Mudder on the 6th of May.
George has set himself a target of running a minimum of 11 marathons raising money in memory of his Dad, although this isn't a marathon this is the start of his journey and will be his first fund raiser.
For this event we are raising money for the Royal Marsden Cancer Charity this is a charity that was close to Paul's heart.
Paul spent a lot of time in the Royal Marsden Hospital during his long battle and had nothing but good things to say about the Doctor's and Nurses that looked after him during his visits.
Any donations no matter how big or small will
will be much appreciated to help the royal Marsden in there research so they can save more lives.
