Hi, my name is Beth and I’m running the Berlin Marathon to raise money for WellChild because I’ve seen firsthand how challenging life with complex medical needs can be. I have a close family member living with cystic fibrosis and another with multiple sclerosis—both adults—and even for them, the daily struggles can be immense. I can only imagine how much harder it must be for children and their families. That’s why I’m supporting WellChild, a charity that helps seriously ill children and their families get the care and support they need at home. Every donation helps make a real difference. This will be my first ever marathon so I’m equal parts excited and scared, but overall I’m up for the challenge and really happy that I get to do it in support of a great charity!
