Raising money for Welbeck Primary School
Donation protected
The Barnum (Sean, Natasha, Amy and Sophie) have partnered with Welbeck Primary School to raise money for the amazing work they do. Between the 12th June - 12th July we will be running, walking and cycling 348 miles between us.
Based around the corner from The Barnum, Welbeck goes above and beyond to put the educational needs of the children first. A lot of the children that attend come from under privileged backgrounds and the school does everything to make sure that they get the best education. During the holidays the school stays open so those who need support and food have the option of using their services.
We have already donated our time to the school, they have visited The Barnum and had a look round the amazing spaces we have. Sean is currently donating his time to be part of the Children's university programme, teaching them Drama from which they will 'graduate' at the end.
But we want to do more! We want to raise money to support them in other ways so they have the tools to carry on doing the amazing work they are doing. We hope you will support us in this challenge!
Headteacher Rebecca Gittins said: "We currently have 43 children seeking asylum with no recourse to public funds so any financial support to pay for enrichment opportunities would be fantastic.
We are committed to ensuring no pupil misses out due to poverty or circumstance."
