Hello all! My name is Marisa! I am Ebony’s best friend, I met Eb in 9th grade, the day I walked Into my new math classroom, was the day I met Eb and we have been inseparable since! If you know Eb, then you know that she would walk through fire for her friends, she would give you her last dollar if you needed it! So I’d like to return the favor by helping them through this horrible situation that her and her husband are now facing!
Tony is a hard worker an amazing husband, and a great provider for his family! He is always helping others when needed, and is always the first to show up! He will have you laughing all night , he is always a positive person!
On Friday, February 8th Tony woke up from a nap, stood up and fell! As of right now Tony is paralyzed from the shoulders down. He went into surgery on Sunday, and they say that his spinal cord is all intact, which is a good thing! The prognosis that he has is usually caused by being in a car accident, but because he wasn’t, they don’t really know why this has happened!
Tony will have a long road ahead of him for recovery, he will be starting therapy, and then will be moved to a long term facility for more therapy!
With Tony’s insurance there is a large lump sum out of pocket cost, my hope is to lift this heavy burden off of them as much as possible. With Tony not being able to work, and Ebony missing days of work to be with her husband , they will still have to pay their household bills , on top of this lump sum out of pocket cost!
So let’s show them the power of love and help them! Let’s lift this burden off of them so all they have to worry about is Tony healing !
