Raising money for Tim McKeown's funeral services

Tim McKeown was a dedicated father, brother, son and friend. He is a father of 2 free-spirited children, Lilly (6) and Raiden (4). Tim was hotheaded at points but wore his heart on his sleeve. He knew how to bring a smile to your face by silly faces and dad jokes.

A few days ago, Lilly and Raiden lost their loving father to suicide. No one expected this as nobody knew that behind Tim's big smile was so much pain, and it is a haunting thought that will remain in all of his loved ones. Tim dedicated his life to Lilly and Raiden. They were his everything, his life. He was hard working, caring, and always had a smile that was so gentle; he touched the lives of many.

Knowing that Raiden will never know the joy of running down the hall when daddy gets home, and Lilly will never have her father walk her down the aisle, breaks all our hearts in the most indescribable way. Lives are often built with the outlook that both parents will be there to provide for the family, and funeral costs are something that no family plans for especially at such a young age.

Through this page we not only want to support the family but bring light to the suicide epidemic. Such a permanent decision often made because of a temporary problem has lifelong devastating outcomes that ripples across our society. The pain of the daily impact of Tim’s loss is so real, and the agony dealing with the reality of their Daddy being gone, the countless unanswered questions, and the acceptance that their lives will be lived without Tim forever, is something the family will feel forever.

Services will be held at Bass and Grasper in Westport.
