Raising Money For Tim

Donation protected

Timothy is a hard working young man who is always willing to help anyone who needs a hand.  He loves his job at Hawker's Hauling, as a heavy duty mechanic in the summer and an ice road trucker in the winter.  He loves spending time outside; hiking, swimming, having a bbq, and playing with his son.

He has a spot in his heart for animals, and was always willing to take in a foster animal in need until a good home could be found.  Whether it with a dog, a ferret or a goat, they were all welcome.  But most of all he loves his family; wife, Niki, and his 5 year old son Christopher.  He is always happiest to just be with them, teaching his son how to use tools and build lego's or curling up with his wife to watch a movie.

In October 2019, Tim started feeling sick.  He was loosing weight and experiencing sever back pain, and general weakness.  After multiple doctor appointments, x-rays, CT scans and blood work we found out on Nov 11, 2019 that Tim was diagnosed with aggressive stage 3 testicular cancer.  He was admitted to the hospital on November 15, 2019.  To weak to stand and in so much pain, the hospital had trouble controlling it.

They immediately started aggressive chemotherapy, which thankfully helped treat the pain almost immediately.  It brought a lot of complications, like constant vomiting, serve thrush, and blood clots; but by the end of chemotherapy, he was feeling good enough to start thinking of the future.

On April 9 2020, they did surgery to remove the tumour and things were looking up.  Seven days later, they were back in the hospital because the pain was back.  After a couple of CT scans, an ultrasound, and a bone scan, it was discovered that the cancer had spread more through his bones.  A new seven centimetre tumour was found.  A new biopsy has been booked and radiation begins again on May 8, 2020.

With this new tumour and how fast it is spreading thru his bones, his prognosis, which was already poor, has diminished more so.  But he is still fighting and doing everything he can so he can stay with his wife and son.

Tim hasn't been able to work since November 8 2019.  Cancer has caused Tim weakness, pain and being nauseated.   With the multiple appointments for treatment a week, Niki hasn't been able to work because she needs to stay home to take care of Tim and their 5 year old son.

Between the gas to go to appointments, parking fees, and medications (which not all covered for), on top of regular household bills, everything is pilling up.  Tim is also concerned about leaving his wife and 5 year old son a mountain of debt from all of this.  If anyone can find it in their hearts to donate, share, or pray for the best, it would be appreciated more then words can express.

From the bottom of out hearts, thank you.
