Raising money for the staff of Bastion

Less than a week ago, we were doing what we do best- providing hospitality and light to our beloved guests and regulars, joking with each other, and living life as a community. Now, in no time at all, we have been separated. It is with a heavy heart that we have closed our doors to do what is right for the community.

It is our greatest hope that when this is all over we can resume operation as it was right before we closed; somehow work was seamless, easy, people were doing their jobs expertly and with joy. We miss it already. But to allow our staff to collect unemployment and have some income, the difficult action to lay everyone off was necessary.

This fund is set up to care for the inevitable hardships ahead should  any one of our Bastion family need assistance with rent, utilities, medical bills or food. This came without warning and no one was prepared for this.

Thank you so much for your generosity and support. We cannot wait to welcome you back to our establishment. We hope we can return as the same team we were before this happened.

Take care, don't touch your face, don't touch anyone else's face, and never give up.
