On August 31 2025 I will be taking part in the Hell Of the North Cotswolds (HONC) 50km bike ride. This is an arduous cross-country ride through the rolling hills of the Cotswolds starting at Sudeley castle.

I am doing this to raise money for the Archie Matthews Trust. This is a charity set up by some good friends of mine, Steve and Steph Matthews after their eldest son took his own life last August. Steve and Steph had tried desperately to get Archie the help he needed but really struggled. The aim of AMT is raise money to help fund groups supporting young men who are struggling with their mental health. Archie wasn't the first person I've personally known to take his own life and sadly he hasn't been the last. I hope by raising money doing the HONC ride that I can do my little bit to help raise some money for the AMT to use helping young men who are suffering.
