Please help us raise money for St Luke's Hospice!
Welcome our Live Event Go-Fund-Me page - we’re aiming to raise £4000+ for St Luke’s Hospice, an incredible charity that supports and takes care of those living with terminal illnesses, and Ella's, a charity that supports survivors of trafficking and exploitation to re-build their lives.
We are Holly, Mia and Keira, a team of final year Event Managements students at Sheffield Hallam University. Together, we are staging a mega market festival called Vendr on Saturday the 5th of April, 2-7pm at SteelYard, Sheffield, Kelham Island. Shop from unique local brands, discover hidden gems and enjoy live music. Whether you’re here for fashion, food, or fun, we’ve got something for everyone!
We also have a raffle with amazing prizes such as x2 Tramlines weekend tickets, x2 12 month Puregym memberships, and gift vouchers for some amazing restaurants, bars and shops in SteelYard!
To fund this amazing event, we have held two fundraising events, a pub quiz that raised £173, and a club night which raised £150! Alongside the support of family, friends, and the general public who have donated to these amazing causes, we have raised over £1000 so far which will help us hopefully reach our target of £4000 + by the end of our event!
You can contact us via our instagram @vendrmarketfestival, event email: [email redacted], or you could leave a message with your donation on this page.
Because our event is self-funded, raising money is super important for us to be successful and we need your help to raise as much as possible. Any donation is hugely appreciated and will help us to support the amazing work that St Luke’s and Ella’s do.
Here are some insights as to how the funds raised at our event can help St Luke’s:
£52 could contribute towards a home visit from the St Luke's Specialist Palliative Community Nursing Team.
£390 could contribute towards a week of meals for 10 patients.
£900 could contribute towards 20 hours of specialised bereavement support.
For more information on Ella's;
Thanks to many people's donations, 66 women were helped, 40 women were able to go back into education/training/work, 27 women were supported through court cases, and 59 children were helped.
They have officially opened their 6th safehouse which has housed a mother and her two children!
Thank you! We really appreciate you taking the time to read through our Go-Fund-Me page. We would love for you to follow along with our fundraising journey and hope to see you at our live event!
