Raising money for science teacher's surgery

Mrs. Folkerts is a beloved grade 8 science teacher at KCS. She had a herniated disk, and was told by doctors that it would resolve itself. It did not and continued to cause her pain. Eventually, it got far worse. Because she was not given treatment initially, she now has Degenerative disk disease and permanent nerve damage and has to live each day with chronic pain. The treatment needed is artificial disk replacement surgery, and the procedure costs 50,000 dollars. She is such a beautiful, caring, and amazing teacher, and everyone at KCS is rooting for her to get better. She is someone who never stops smiling, and is always trying to share the light of God with others.
