Raising money for RAFA
Hello,
I am an 18 year old Royal Air Force Air Cadet at 209 (West Bridgford) Squadron. I am looking to raise money for the Royal Air Force Association (RAFA), a charity who fund for when someone within the RAF family needs help. Whether that be practical assistance, expert advice or emotional support.
As an Air Cadet I am looking at a combination of activities in order to raise money for this charity, including a sponsored parachute jump next month as well as cake sales both at my sixth form and local unit.
I would also like to raise enough funding to cover the costs of the parachuting jump which is £230.
£300 of my raised money will be donated to the Royal Air Force Association in helping provide support to those who need it most. Anything I raise above my target will be donated to 209 West Bridgford Squadron Royal Air Force Air Cadets, to help with the purchase of a mini bus, in order for cadets to have a greater chance of attending all the experiences and opportunities the RAF Air Cadets have to offer.
Kind regards,
Cadet Warrant Officer Rebekah Oldknow
