One million dollars seems a little high for a go fund me, but that is what my mom is worth to me and I want to be able to raise as much money for her as I can. For those who don’t know my mom, she is the most incredible person I know. She was diagnosed with colon cancer in 2011, and has seen it spread to her lymph nodes and lungs in recent years. Throughout the 5+ surgeries and countless hours spent laying  in bed, she has never stopped fighting and she has always tried to make me and my two sisters a priority whenever she has the strength. Things have been getting tough for my family recently. My older sister and her fiancé moved back into our family home after receiving the news that they would be having triplets(they are all boys and are 6 months old now!) and my parents are paying for me(junior) and my younger sister(freshman) as we make our journey through college. I’m not making this to receive pity donations, I just love my mom more than the world and want to help her any way I can. No matter what my family has been through, we have always had a roof over our head, food on our plate, and a bed to sleep in at night thanks to my dad for working his hardest to make sure we are all safe. Both of my parents have done so much for me and I just want to repay them in whatever way I can. Me and my sisters always have presents on our birthdays, Baskets full of candy on Easter, and presents under our Christmas tree. What we don’t have is a guarantee that our mom will see us all get married and grow old, so I would like to do whatever I can for my mom while we are still young.
