Hello, my name is Jeff Baenen, and I retired in 2020 after 42 years as a reporter for The Associated Press news service. Last year I created a broadcast journalism scholarship at my alma mater, Minnesota State University Moorhead, so that young people can continue in this important field. Money raised for my scholarship will be used to help pay for the cost of MSUM students' education.
