Hello,

My dear friend Murray Davidson is in Toronto General Hospital for his liver transplant. This operation will take 8 to 10 hours. Murray has been suffering from liver failure for quite some time now. He got his call on Monday, October 10th, that he finally had a donor. While talking to his wife Tracey yesterday, I found out that his stay in the hospital after this procedure would be between 3 to 6 months. His medications alone will have a monthly cost of between $3000 to $5000 so that his body doesn't reject his new liver.

Murray is a kind man who loves to help people and enjoys sharing his knowledge on various subjects. He's the type of person that will stop and help someone in need to help if you are stuck on the side of the road. He's an avid supporter of cadet clubs and has taught many kids outdoor survival skills.

Murray and Tracey have a young daughter starting her first year of High School. This new chapter in her life is supposed to be an exciting time for her, but she's left worried about her father being unable to be with him during these trying times. I want to raise enough money for Murray's care and the cost of staying in Toronto so that the doctors can monitor him and for his family to spend Christmas with him in Toronto.

So please, if you could spare a few dollars towards helping Murray, he doesn't have to worry about the costs and can make a full recovery.
