Raising money for money for Jackie Massmann

Jacqueline Massmann, goes by Jackie, was diagnosed with Acute Myeloid Leukemia in Late October 2019. Because of her Crohn's disease, she will have to have a longer treatment that is easier on her body.  She will have a 2 month outpatient chemotherapy at the Saint Cloud Hospital, and will then go to the Mayo clinic for a bone marrow transplant. Her stay at the Mayo clinic could last up to 4 months. 

 

Jackie and her husband Pat have 2 sons. Colton, age 7, is a 2nd grader at Foley Elementary school. Colton plays little league baseball, football, and enjoys outdoor activities like hiking and camping. Caleb, age 4, has Lennox Gastaut Syndrome, Dystonia, and Quadriplegia. Caleb is a highly special needs child and requires 24 hour care which is provided by Jackie and a team of nurses. 

 

Throughout this process Pat and other family members such as her mom and dad, sister and brother, and aunts and uncles will have to take time off work to go and act as Jackie’s care provider while she is at the Mayo outpatient clinic. The outpatient clinic charges a $30 a day fee to either Jackie or the person acting as her care provider for that day. We are asking for a starting goal of $30,000 to help cover the cost of the outpatient clinic, and gas to and from the Mayo along with the various other medical bills they will have to pay.
