For those of us whose families have been touched by a loved one taking their own life the memories of those who have died live on. The reasons and circumstances can vary massively but the sense of loss and pain continues. There isn't always 'a meaning' to link to the loss that may help to ease the grief but some meaning can be created by raising money to support organisations who work to prevent suicide and support better mental health.
I am a 63 year old, overweight bloke whose son took his own life in 2022 and am running the Outback Half Marathon at end of July; raising money in Billy's memory is one of the ways I want to attach meaning to my lovely boy. Please give if you wish to
