On Friday, June 28th, I received heartbreaking news that my dear friend and colleague, Mark Ardington, had passed away on Thursday, June 27th.

This loss has deeply shocked me and many in our industry who had the privilege of knowing him.

It’s often said that we speak well of the deceased, but Mark truly deserved every accolade. He was an exceptionally kind, intelligent, and remarkable person. More than just a good man, he was one of the best. Mark always made time for everyone and was passionate about his craft, leaving a lasting impact on those around him.

Mark was also a devoted father and husband. Having known him for many years, I can attest that his family was his world. In light of this tragedy, I am organizing a fundraiser to support his wife and two children during this incredibly difficult time.

GoFundMe has asked me to set a target, but I hope we can surpass it and support Mark’s family as he supported so many of us.
