Marcy was diagnosed with breast cancer in June of this year. It was a scary moment for her and the family. Marcy started her fight immediately. She was placed on one of the strongest chemo treatments to shrink it! Every week seeing her drained and sick,  hurt my heart. She has always been a spunky and vibrant person. She always even while sick remained with a smile and remained brave. Some days where harder than others for her but she continued being positive and strong. Marcy decided on a double mastectomy and the day before Thanksgiving she had the surgery. It was very hard on her body and her system so she stayed in hospital few days. When she got home she was pushing forward ready to get her life back just to received a call that now another form of breast cancer cells were found and she must do another year of chemotherapy. A few weeks past while healing from her major surgery Marcy was rushed to the ER. She was septic she then started her biggest fight for her life. She was put on a ventilator and put in a medical coma. The family was really scared that we would lose our sweet Marcy. However Marcy fought her way back to us after almost a week. The doctors are still amazed at her determination and strength.
