Lisa Gauvreau.

Hey everyone.

As you may or may not know, our friend Lisa Gauvreau...a long time member of the Sudbury curling community...has been through tremendous loss...in a very short period of time.

Lisa lost her husband Michael suddenly in November, 2023. Lisa and Michael had two daughters together, Vanessa and Jessica.

Not long after, in March of 2024, their youngest daughter Jessica suddenly passed away. Jessica left behind her young daughter, Eve Marie.

No parent should ever have to experience the loss of a child, not to mention so soon after losing her loving partner of many years.

Sadly, the story isn't over.

Last week, on Wednesday May 29, 2024, her oldest daughter Vanessa suddenly passed away at home, leaving behind not only her already grieving mother, Lisa, but also her 4 children Ireland, Catherine, Shawn Jr, & Cooper.

Lisa has a long road ahead of her, to mend, learn to live this new life, and also help care for her grandchildren.

My hope with this go fund me, is to raise some funds for Lisa to take a much needed holiday, to get a change of scenery and help her mend her heart.
