Raising Money for Lily Reddaway

I am fundraising to help my brother and sister in law with their emergency vet bills for their dog, Lily.

 

Lily is a 4 year old brindle pitt mutt that Joe and Brittany adopted as a puppy from SPCA Tampa Bay. They have loved her every single day of her life and are not ready to say goodbye.

 

On January 10, Lily took a fall in Joe and Britt's backyard. This fall caused life threatening internal bleeding (ITP) which has included a severe spinal injury, possible paralysis, blood/platelet problems and possible herniated disc(s)/FCE - and these are just the findings and diagnosis so far. The doctors are still working to stabilize Lily and stop her internal bleeding as I write this and we are still trying to wrap our heads around how this beautiful, dog worshipping family could be going through emergency veterinary care for the second time in as many years.

 

Lily's vet bills are currently at $7,000 as of yesterday. This does not include any future findings or possible outcomes/treatments. The what-ifs in this scenario are still unending. I want to help Joe and Britt with the veterinary expenses for Lily, and thought the best way to share Lily's story was through the GFM platform.
