Raising money for Chesil Youth Pride - resources and support

Myself and my family are part of a local LGBT community group (LGBT+side (part of b-side)) who are involved with the some of the planning and supporting of Chesil Youth Pride.

Chesil Youth Pride is entering it's 3rd year and was created after the council received feedback from young people, saying that they felt unsafe in their communities and that they wanted a ‘safe space’ to be themselves.

This is a youth-led, family event that celebrates Dorset’s LGBTQ+ young people in Weymouth and Portland and beyond.

Last year’s Pride event saw over 200 young people and their family, friends, and allies attend a stall event at Weymouth College, with many going on to join a celebrative group parade along Weymouth’s Esplanade - We are hoping that this year will be bigger and better!

Your donation and support will ensure that these safe and inclusive events and spaces remain open and accessible for young people with the ability to provide resources and support for young people to be themselves.
