Words from Lupe, a dear friend:
I am writing these words from the bottom of my heart. My best friend´s 18-year old daughter needs assistance. Her name is Jennifer. She lived alone with her father in Bothell, and her mother and siblings live in El Salvador. Her father, Oscar Herrera was hospitalized in critical condition at Evergreen Health in Kirkland with COVID since May 9, 2021. At 18-years young Jennifer had to make one of the most difficult decisions of her life. She had to take her father off life support on May 24th and he passed away immediately. He is survived by Jennifer and her little sister who is back in El Salvador.
Life is making this young woman grow up faster than she anticipated with the unexpected passing of her father. She is a straight-A student and is set to graduate from Inglemoore High this upcoming June 15th. Instead of planning her upcoming graduation celebration, she now has to figure out how to take care of herself with the unexpected passing of her father. She needs assistance with burial and living expenses. We know these are difficult times for all of us but ask if you can assist this young woman even if it´s just a dollar, every little bit helps. Thank you for your time.
