Raising Money for a Transplant Procedure

Donation protected
Hello Everyone!
I'm reaching out again to keep you updated on the latest!
I can't know but have a strong feeling that the transplant will take place sometime this December.

As before, I need to ask for money $$$. The expenses of all this are significant. I thank you in advance for whatever help you can give!

Also, I want to humbly thank all of you who previously donated to my fundraiser. I am eternally grateful.

This update is mostly informational as to what a lung transplant consists of. But if you continue reading all of the happenings over the past couple of months will be included for you to read.

Hello, dear friends, family, acquaintances, and kind strangers - and hopefully not too many enemies. I hope this message finds you well. I am writing to provide an update on my health situation and the ongoing GoFundMe campaign.

Before I start, I want to humbly thank all of you who previously donated to my fundraiser. I am eternally grateful.

Firstly, I want to share that I had a medical emergency last week. My lung collapsed and I was rushed by ambulance to the emergency room. From there, I was airlifted to a larger hospital for more specialized care. It was a frightening experience, but I am now recovering and seem to be doing okay. Your prayers and well wishes have been a source of strength during this challenging time.

Secondly, I want to emphasize the importance of sending my GoFundMe campaign link to everyone in your contacts - everyone you know - friends, family, colleagues, and even people who don’t know me personally - and most people won't know me personally. Please reach out to them via email, text message, phone calls, and any other methods that they are used to communicating with. There are many compassionate individuals out there who may be moved to contribute. Every time you send a friend or acquaintance a link to my fundraiser expands the reach of my campaign and increases the chances of meeting the fundraising goal.
All the readers of this fundraiser will want to know if somebody they know knows the man in the fundraiser.
So please send this link directly to your contacts and don't simply post on social media!
Social media can be used also but there is nothing like a direct approach.

Remember, no amount is too small or too big. Every dollar counts and will make a significant difference in my life as I navigate through these medical challenges.

Thank you once again for your kindness, generosity, and support. Please continue to keep me in your thoughts and prayers. Stay safe and healthy. God bless you all.

Interstitial lung disease (ILD) is a group of lung conditions that cause scarring of lung tissues. This scarring can affect your ability to breathe and get enough oxygen into your bloodstream. Symptoms include shortness of breath, dry cough, weight loss, and fatigue. Causes can range from prolonged inhalation of irritants like dust and asbestos, and certain medications, to autoimmune disorders. Treatment varies based on the cause and type of ILD and may include medication, oxygen therapy, or in severe cases, a lung transplant.
