Raising money for 4Louis & Pinderfields Hospital

Myself and my family were visiting Wakefield, Yorkshire for a friends wedding where my boyfriend was due to be the best man and my daughter the flower girl.

I was 36 weeks pregnant and sadly on the morning of the wedding I started to experience pains, which increased quickly leading to myself and my family going to hospital. This is where we were told the heart shattering news that our beautiful boy no longer had a heartbeat and that I had suffered from a placenta abruption.

The Pinderfields Hospital were absolutely amazing and treated myself and my family with such great care. The midwife’s who helped us through this traumatic time were amazing and I will never be able to repay them.

On top of this they offered us a very special memory box that was gifted from the charity 4Louis.

I would never wish this heartbreak upon anyone however this memory box has left us with something to treasure forever and I want to be able to help provide any other families who go through this with the same.

My amazing best friend Bridie will be running the half marathon in February 2024 to raise as much money as we can for the Pinderfields Bereavement Maternity Ward and 4Louis charity so they can help many more families.
