My name is Stephan Witherspoon and I am the owner of Doc. Witherspoon's Soul Food Shack. On Dec 26th 2021 Roscoes Pioneer Bar & my restaurant was burglarized. Perpetrators got a large undisclosed amount of money from the bar and stole $1,600 cash and my laptop. Being an entrepreneur in days like these which are already tough on everyone makes this kind of action devastating due to being a small business owner. My laptop had all my restaurant info, and other important documents I need access to on a daily basis. The cash I had saved was for my relicense fee to the MN Health Department to be open in 2022 and some cash was to pay a partial insurance payment that was due. Business has been slow the past couple months but picking back up in the last couple weeks. I would like to stay open to create a legacy but also bring folks together over some stellar food!!
