More information about Papyrus Prevention of Young Suicide: PAPYRUS is the national charity dedicated to the prevention of young suicide in the UK. Suicide is the biggest killer of young people under the age of 35 in the UK. We believe that everyone can play a role in suicide prevention and we work towards a society which speaks openly about suicide and has the resources to save young lives.

For everyone who knows me will know that I have worked in CAMHS (Child and Adolescent Mental Health Services) for over 10 years now and that I’m passionate on supporting people and ensuring they get the right help that they need. I’d love to be able to raise money for this amazing charity that helps young people in a time of need and that helps to prevent suicide and aims to help reduce the stigma. Latest statistics show that on average around 5 young people take their life each day. Suicide is the main cause of death in young people under the age of 35 in the UK with around three quarters of these being male. By just donating £5, this contributes to a contact to the HOPELINE247. Things need to change and hopefully with your donations, we can help save lives.
