Raising Hope for Ana's Family

Traveling to Nicaragua 12 years ago my soul was changed -- I met new friends, experienced a new culture and gained a loving family. I have since experienced the strength, courage and whole hearted love of the people in a country who are suppressed by poverty and who struggle daily to survive.
Byron's family embraced me as a daughter and sister and I am forever grateful to have been part of my sister Ana's life. From supporting her through school, watching her become a mother and eventually finding love I had the highest hopes and a deep love for Ana. Ana's life came to an end much too soon on April 22, 2019, which has left a hole in the hearts of her family and has left a little boy, Little Byron, who deserves a future.
Many have asked me to let them know how they can help so I have decided to Raise Hope for Ana's Family so that her son, Little Byron, can have hope for a future. Money raised will be used to fund daily living and school expenses for Little Byron for as long as possible (Little Byron is only 4 years old). I will be in charge of funds and I plan to send a monthly amount to ensure funds last (but reserve my judgment if a greater need arises).
